Product Description

The Hex Bar is a better way to do deadlifts and other types of weightlifting exercises by keeping your weight centered through your body’s midline. The change in angle allows you to do dead lifts that incorporate less of your glutes and lower back while increasing the use of the quadriceps.

Hex Bars:

  • Incorporates the same muscles as a deadlift without the impact on lower back
  • Allows you to pull significantly more weight
  • Shifts the impact from the glutes and hamstrings onto the quadriceps

The Hex Bar is a Power Systems Brand product that is designed to keep weight centered through the body’s midline during deadlifts, shrugs, and power pulls. To create a custom Olympic Hex Bar, simply add the Olympic plates in the weight of your choice.

  • Designed for doing Hex Bar squats, deadlifts, shrugs and power pulls
  • 2-handle options for exercisers of all sizes
  • Adjustable weight with Olympic plates

Additional Information

The Power Systems Hex Bar brings more versatility to your lifting so you get optimized results without the stress powerlifting often causes on the lower back. When you perform a Hex Bar deadlift, you are standing in the middle of the Hex Bar and squat to reach the handles. The design of the Hex Bar weight puts you in the center of the weight instead of placing it out in front. This design also allows you to keep the weight closer to your body as you lift, making it possible for you to pull more weight.
Customize the Hex Bar to your build and to the weight that you need to keep growing stronger and larger. Add the appropriate Olympic plates (sold separately) to your Hex Bar order and see what a difference the Hex Bar weight makes on your lifting. The choice in handle options allows you to choose the best configuration for a more personalized fit.
To perform a Hex Bar deadlift, load the Hex Bar with plates and step into the center. Grasp the handles securely. In the starting position, your thighs should be slightly over parallel with the floor and your torso should be bent forward at a 45-degree angle. As you lift the Hex Bar upward, push heels down into the floor. Once you are fully upright, begin to lower the Hex Bar weight to the floor. You can also perform Hex Bar squats, lunges and other leg exercises using the same piece of exercise equipment.

Protecting your back is one of the most important considerations you can make when you lift but it shouldn’t overshadow the desire to build a bigger, stronger, more powerful body.  The Power Systems Hex Bar offers an effective solution that will actually get you better results.
